For the test, the current iteration of the  Kia Carnival MPV  was used. The vehicle was dropped from a vertical height of 12.6 m. A crane was used to lay the vehicle on a vertically flat surface aligned at 90 degrees from the surface below. With the Indian automobile sector entering the BS6 Emission era, the  TUV 300  had not received the BS6 update so far.
