BS6 Maruti S-PRESSO S-CNG Launched at Rs 4.84 Lakh

BS6 S-CNG S-PRESSO offers improved performance, enhanced safety, & unmatched convenience

Maruti Suzuki India Limited today introduced the BS6 compliant S-CNG variant of its Mini-SUV, S-PRESSO. This launch augments the brand’s commitment towards ‘Mission Green Million’. The company has already sold one million green vehicles (including CNG, Smart Hybrid vehicles) and aims to sell more than 1 million green vehicles in the next couple of years. It has been the first automobile player in the country to offer factory-fitted CNG cars. The company sold 106,443 factory-fitted CNG vehicles across India, thus achieving the highest ever sales in the FY 2019-2020.

 

The S-CNG variant of Maruti S-PRESSO has been priced in the range of Rs 4.84 lakhs - Rs 5.13 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Mini-SUV is offered in four trims namely LXi, LXi (O), VXi, and VXi (O).

The vehicle retains the same design as its petrol-powered model. The design highlight includes conventional headlamps with LED DRLs placed on the bumpers, vertical front grille, and black colored body cladding. On the sides, it gets 14-inch alloy wheels with flared wheel arches while the rear end features LED taillights.


The S-CNG S-PRESSO comes equipped with dual interdependent ECUs (Electronic Control Unit) and an intelligent injection system. As for interior features, it gets a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system, a centrally-mounted digital instrument cluster, and adjustable ORVMs. In terms of safety, the car comes equipped with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, pedestrian safety, reverse parking sensors, seat-belt reminder, and high-speed warning.
