With the departure of this motorcycle, the company will have only two Avenger models in the form of  Avenger 160 Street  and the Avenger 220 Cruise, both of whom are already BS6 compliant. Bajaj's official website no longer shows several BS4 models including the Avenger 220 Street while all the new BS6 models have been listed on it. It was also speculated in March that the production of the motorcycle has been stopped with no stock delivered to the dealers. Bajaj Avenger 220 Street wasn't doing good enough in the Indian market as the sales numbers show and that is probably one of the biggest reasons why the company thought it was wiser to discontinue it.
