Kawasaki Ninja 650 BS6 Launched at Rs 6.24 Lakhs
The 2020 BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 650 gets a price hike of Rs 35000 over the BS4 model.
India Kawasaki Motors has launched BS6 Ninja 650 at Rs 6.24 lakhs (Ex-Showroom) in the country. The motorcycle gets a price hike of Rs 35,000 over the BS4 model. This price is quite less as compared to the one announced in January 2020 when the bike was unveiled. The launch of the bike was initially supposed to happen in April 2020. But, due to coronavirus lockdown, the launch was postponed. However, Kawasaki Motors had already opened the bookings for the bike a few days ago. The dealerships had already started accepting bookings for the motorcycle. Despite the BS6 update, the bike weighs the same as the outgoing model.
As for design, the BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 650 gets several updates. The bike gets a redesigned front fascia inspired by the Ninja 400, ZX-6R and Versys 1000. It also features a full-LED headlamp, a new sculpted fuel tank, and a revised tail lamp cluster. The sports tourer gets a 4.3-inch TFT instrument console that can be synced to the smartphone via the Rideology app. It comes equipped with Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres for better grip and handling. At the rear, it gets a wider and thicker pillion seat. The bike also gets a redesigned windshield flush-fitted with the upper cowl.
